Use It Or Lose It – Are Your Dental Benefits Expiring December 31?
Are Your Dental Benefits Expiring Soon?
As we approach the end of the year, we share this tip that can help you take full advantage of any dental insurance benefits you may have remaining for 2016: If you don’t use them, you lose them!
Many people do not realize that most dental insurance benefits expire & reset every year, usually on December 31st, (but your plan may have a “rolling calendar, meaning the expiry date is the same date you signed up for benefits).
Because you may not know about this expiry, you might accidentally let hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars worth of benefits go back into the insurance company’s bank account.
Benefits are a part of your salary, and not using them is like giving the company back a large part of your pay.
While treatment is never dictated by insurance, if you or your family members have any treatment that remains to be completed, or you have any dental concerns at all, it would be very useful for you to come in before the end of the year.
Our goal with every one of our patients is to help you enjoy great oral health because we want you to look good, feel good, and hong healthy teeth & gums for life.
If you would like to make an appointment, we will find a time that is convenient for you.
